Pingwei Electric Power Generating Company participates in formulation of national and industrial standard

On 3 September, Pingwei Electric Power Generating Company received a good news. According to the Announcement No. 36 (2018) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, the “Three-way Controlling Valves for High-pressure Heater” standard, which is formulated by Pingwei Electric Power Generating Company, has officially become the national and industrial standard and been published.

Pingwei Electric Power Generating Company who served as the third participating formulator participated in the formulation and preparation of the standard numbered JB/T 13518-2018 which was published on 24 August 2018 and will be implemented on 1 May 2019. The standard provides for technical terms and definitions, structural designs, technological requirements, testing and test methods, examination rules, logos, paints, packaging, storage and transportation, and quality proof of the three-way controlling valves for high-pressure heater.

Throughout the years, Pingwei Electric Power Generating Company has attached considerable importance to standard constructions and played an active role in the formulation and revision of national standards for mechanical and power industries. It was involved with the discussion, revision and amendment of dozens of national and industrial standards, as well as the review and discussion of 8 national and industrial standards, Pingwei Electric Power Generating Company has made an application for participating in the formulation of 2 national standards for mechanical industry, namely the Installation, Use and Maintenance of Welded Ball Valve and the High-temperature and High-pressure Parallel Slide Gate Valve for Power Plant.
