Changshu Electric Power Generating Company wins second prize in Innovation Achievement of Information Safety Management of Power Companies

On 20 September, Changshu Electric Power Generating Company’s “Dual Net Isolation” information safety solution for the intranet and internet won the second prize in 2018 Innovation Achievement of Information Safety Management of Power Companies. Changshu Electric Power Generating Company is the only unit in the SPIC system that has self-developed and operated dual net isolation.

Changshu Electric Power Generating Company’s solution regarding the isolation of intranet from the internet was developed by taking SPIC’s overall construction plan as the framework. Taking into account its actual needs and leveraging its technological capabilities and cooperation with equipment manufacturers, Changshu Electric Power Generating Company designed an isolation solution that is in line with the safety management requirements of SPIC and meets the daily information management needs of the company. The solution has greatly reduced work complexity and enhanced user recognition.
