Shentou Power Company's Two Units Win Outstanding Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Award from CEC

China Electricity Council announced the energy efficiency benchmarking result of coal-fired units for the electricity industry for 2018 recently. Shentou Power Company's No.1 and 2 units were named “600MW Supercritical Cooling Unit AAA Grade Outstanding Unit”.

The energy efficiency benchmarking evaluation was conducted by China Electricity Council and the winning coal-fired units in 1000MW, 600MW and 300MW grades were selected after several rounds of review, including the evaluation of the reliability indicator, economics indicator, technology supervision indicator and environmentally-friendly indictor, data announcement, on-site verification and final judging.

Since the launch of production, Shentou Power Company, in addition to ensuring safe production and fulfillment of waste emission standards, continues to improve unit management, carries on the work on equipment maintenance, consumption reduction and in-depth exploration, and actively participates in large-scale competitions to reap the benefits of technological innovation, promote quality enhancement and healthy growth and facilitate the building of first-class clean energy facilities by upholding the strategy which places equal emphasis on large coal-fired power generation base and new energy.
