Water Pollution Prevention and Control of Changshu Power Generation Terminal was Recognised by Suzhou Transportation Bureau

On the morning of 25 July, officers from Suzhou Transportation Bureau inspected the water pollution prevention and control work at the terminal of Changshu Power Generation.

At the phase I coal pier, leaders of the company introduced the production procedure, construction process and treatment efficiency of the rainwater recovery project at the terminal with details to Lu Wenhua and others.

Upon the introduction, officers from Suzhou Transportation Bureau expressed that they were all impressed by the large-scale pier with annual coal handling capacity of over 4 million tonnes and a decent and clean condition of port through environmental control measures. It also reflected that Changshu Power Generation Company focused on the pollution prevention and control of the terminal. The officers hoped that Changshu Power Generation Company will continue to implement the requirements of “promoting environmental protection” and adhere to the principles of safety and environmental protection with strict manners to improve the productivity of terminals.
