Yaomeng Electric Power Company Commences Environmental Protection Inspection Programme

To put into practice President Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilisation and undertake the environmental responsibilities, Yaomeng Electric Power Company commenced unorganised emission inspection, which marked the beginning of the company’s environmental inspection action.

The five-day programme focuses on the inspection of five areas, i.e. unorganised emission, air pollution prevention and online data, water pollution prevention, soil and solid waste (including dangerous waste), and radiation. The company has formed a project inspection team to carry out inspection and assessment for the inspection results.

The action would complement the company’s existing effort in environmental protection, providing more precise direction and guidance for the overall environmental protection work of the company by identifying problems for calculation and analysis.
