Pingwei Power Sets Record High of Over 100 Million
Kilowatts in Single-day Power Generation

The six coal-fired power units of Pingwei Power Generating Company generated 105.26 million kWh of electricity on 19 December, a record high in the company’s single-day power generation.

The company has a “mega trio” of the world’s first power generation unit with millions of kilowatts in capacity, its main transformer with capacity of over 1,000kVA and outgoing lines of over 1 million in UHV. With 4.58 million kilowatts in total installed capacity, the company is SPIC’s largest coal-fired business in installed capacity.
