China Power's Cadre Employees Donate to Epidemic-affected Regions

In the face of epidemics, actions speak louder than words!

Up until 7 February,China Power's accumulated donations totalled RMB 1,720,324.4, the first batch of which worth RMB 1,176,469 had been sent to the Macheng People's Government through Dabieshan Power Company on 5 February, with the remainder spent on procuring medical and other anti-epidemic materials, which are being delivered to affected regions. Everyone in China Power supports the people of affected areas with real actions in winning their fight against the epidemic as soon as possible! Since the eruption of the COVID-19 outbreak, the epidemic situation in places such as the city of Wuhan has been preying on Chinese people's minds; hence, various regions and industries have been extending a helping hand to help Hubei Province combat this pneumonia epidemic caused by the novel coronavirus. Home to Dabieshan Power Company and situated in Huanggang City of Hubei, Ma Cheng is second to Wuhan in terms of the epidemic severity and urgently needs attention and support from all sectors of society. On 3 February, China Power called upon our and other departments to send donations, which received a wide and active response.

In China Power's Hong Kong arm, over HK$14,400 was donated by a total of 17 staff members, including one donating HK$10,000; in the group's Beijing arm, 194 cadre employees donated RMB 67,270 in total within a day, which included a retired party member who donated RMB 1,000 upon learning the news; in Yaomeng Power Company, cadre workers and their families actively donated nearly RMB 300,000 in total; in Wuhu Electric Power, cadre members of staff donated RMB 40,000 in a single day…

Up to the time of publishing this report, donations were still pouring in from our staff, whose blessings had been accumulating in the river of love running towards affected regions.
