China Power Awarded "Exemplary Organisation for Work Resumption" by State Power Investment Corporation

China Power was named "Exemplary Organisation for Work Resumption", an honourable title granted by the State Power Investment Corporation on 28 February.

With the enduring fight against COVID-19 now reaching a crucial moment, China Power has resolutely executed the decisions and plans of its management and strictly followed the arrangements made to strengthen epidemic control and prevention and resume work in a safe and orderly manner. It focuses on epidemic prevention on the one hand, and implements work resumption on the other, steadily pushing forward with orderly work resumption.

Plan Early for Implementation

China Power held a special meeting on 3 February, where it planned for further actions to enhance epidemic prevention and control, and evaluated the situation with a prudent effort in order to secure work resumption. Since then, special meetings have been held every week to address problems we encounter in work resumption. In doing so, China Power adheres to the principles of "Measures Suited to Local Conditions, Measures Suited to Emotions, One Policy for One Enterprise, and One Policy for One Project", and coordinates work resumption across all segments -- wind power, photovoltaic power, hydroelectric power, and coal-fired power.

Epidemic Prevention, Prerequisite and Cornerstone for Work Resumption

On 11 February, China Power launched a new round of thorough, grid-based inspections. In these efforts, China Power combines joint prevention and control with group-wide participation in prevention and treatment to ensure full coverage and zero omission in epidemic control. On 24 February, the health information app urgently developed by China Power Huizhi was released, using technology to collect and analyse accurate data for prevention and control in a timely manner.

Orderly, Precise and Effective Work Resumption

On 15 and 16 February, Shentou Generator Unit 1 and Wuhu Generator Unit 1 were connected to the grid, in order to secure stable power supply for local epidemic control, power peaks in low-temperature environments, and work resumption in regional enterprises. On 15 February, Changshu Electric Power took only two hours to complete the emergent start of heating for heat consumers making mattresses for epidemic-stricken areas. Yaomeng Power completed the Fuqing Nuclear Power 303 Overhaul ahead of schedule with high quality... Since work resumption, all organisations of the China Power system have fully exploited their potential, created new ideas and methods, and exerted their best efforts to ensure power generation and supply, while vigorously facilitating production and operations of other companies.
