Grid Connection of Puyang Wind Power Project Succeeds for the First Time

At 10:28 a.m. on 28 April 2020, all three wind turbines in the coastal wind farm of Puyang Wind Power Project were successfully connected to the grid at one time. The project is the first wind power project of China Power in Henan Province.

Since the initiation of the project, the company had been coordinating different departments to systematically formulate a construction plan and strengthen whole-procedure control, integrating adequate preparations, adequate organisation, adequate measures, and adequate coordination into all processes of the project. In addition, the company actively explored valuable experience in the development of wind power projects while ensuring safety and quality control of the project.

During the cause, all personnel of the company worked hard to solve problems. They strictly followed the "eight 100%s" requirements in construction, so that no construction suspension occurred due to environmental protection. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they actively communicated with local government agencies and effectively prepared ahead of schedule for pandemic prevention and work resumption. The well-thought preparation made it one of the first industrial projects to resume work.
