Dabieshan Power Performed Well in the National Energy Efficiency Competition for Generating Units for 11 Years Consecutively

Recently, the Unit 2 of the Dabieshan Power Company received an AAAA recognition from the 600MW ultra-supercritical water-cooled generating units in the National Energy Efficiency Competition for Thermal Generating Units organized by China Electricity Council which was the eleventh award of this kind granted to the Company consecutively.

In 2019, the Company successfully completed Unit 1 and 2 of Class C maintenance with high quality and successfully connected to the grid at a time. All the main parameters of the unit were qualified, the reliability of the equipment was greatly improved, and three consecutive "100 days operation" records were made, among which Unit 2 has achieved a long-term safe and stable operation for 206 days. The company also seeks to improve the efficiency of the equipment with a focus on fine-tuning management, the coal consumption of the generating units has reached a new low in 2019, becoming the benchmark of the group of company.

At present, the Company has carried out an equipment remediation, energy saving and consumption reduction and potential tapping to further improve the energy efficiency level of the generating unit and lay a solid foundation for achieving the annual target.
