Unit No.6 of Changshu Power Generation Won the Title of "Benchmarking Unit" in Jiangsu Province Again

In the benchmarking evaluation of the energy efficiency level of Jiangsu benchmarking units in 2019, unit No.6 of Changshu Power Generation ranked top in various indicators, and was awarded the "2019 Jiangsu 1000MW Benchmarking Unit". On 22 September, Ji Lidong, the secretary-general of Jiangsu Electric Power Industry Association who investigated in Changshu Power Generation Company, specially awarded the license for Unit No.6, which is the second consecutive year that the unit has awarded this honor after 2018.

Unit No.6 of Chang Electric is the holder of the continuous safe operation record of similar units of the State Power Investment Corporation. In 2019, during the first overhaul after Unit No.6 was put into operation, Changshu Power Generation implemented energy-saving technological transformations such as the transformation of steam-driven induced draft fans, which further reduced the energy consumption of the unit and won the title of AAAA in the National Large Unit Competition.
