Wuhu Power Generation Representative Team Wins the Award in Wuhu Fitter Skill Competition

On 11 October, the Wuhu Fitter Skill Competition came to an end after a one-day contest at Wuhu Technician Institute between 16 teams representing 14 companies. Out of 48 contestants, Wang Hao from Wuhu Power Generation won the second place (single) while Wuhu Power Generation won the third place (group).

This competition was jointly organized by the Worker’s Competition Committee of Wuhu City and the General Worker’s Union of Wuhu City in hope of simulating growth in benchwork skills among vast technicians in Wuhu city as well as building a platform of learning communicating technical knowledge. The competition also served the purpose of promoting skill learning, technique matchup and making contributions. The competition was divided into two sections, knowledge test and skills test.

Wuhu Power values training and development of their technicians immensely, hence the Company has enthusiastically set up platforms to help employees succeed. As a result, numerous technicians have successively won prizes from competitions held by China Power and the Group companies. Their achievement strikingly created a spirit of fine craftsmanship.
