Unit 4 of Dabieshan Power Plant Phase II Extension Project Successfully Connected to the Grid for the First Time

At 01:02 on 28 November, Unit 4 of the second phase expansion project of Dabieshan Power Plant was successfully connected to the grid for the first time after completing the 220KV Dashi line power transmission project and charging the No. 4 main transformer, and the system parameters were operating normally!

After Unit 3 successfully passed the 168-hour trial operation on 22 May, the company concluded Unit 3 grid-connected production as a successful application, and steadily pushed forward the construction and commissioning of Unit 4. The whole set of on-set operations began on 20 November. The steam turbine successfully rotated for the first time on the next day, and all performance indicators met the standard, laying a solid foundation for the successful grid connection of the units. Unit 4 was ignited on the 26th. On the 27th, the steam turbine successfully reached 3,000 rpm and completed the overspeed test and a series of electrical tests. In the early morning of the 28th, a series of test operations were completed before the unit was connected to the grid.

After Unit 4 is connected to the grid for the first time, the company will continue to carry out a series of on-grid tests and commissioning work to ensure that it passes the 168-hour trial operation on schedule while meeting sound standards.
