Good Ending of 2020: Good News from Several New Energy Projects
On December 25, 2020, Lingshan Dahuaishan II Project of Guangxi Company was fully connected to the grid for power generation. The Project, located in Lingshan County, is equipped with 18 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 100 MW. After its operation, it is expected to generate 270 GWh of electricity, save 84,500 tons of standard coal and 556,400 tons of water, and reduce pollutant emissions by 99.65 tons annually.
On December 31, 2020, Tongwei 11.9 MW Rooftop PV Project of Hefei Company was successfully connected to the grid and has been in stable operation. Operating on a basis of "self-supply and delivering surplus power to the grid", the Project will generate 11.35 GWh of clean energy, create an economic benefit of about RMB5.9 million, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 11,316 tons annually, exhibiting regional advantages and economic and social benefits.
On December 30, 2020, the construction of Zhuwa 50 MW Combined Agricultural and PV Power Project, located in Xishui County, Hubei, was commenced officially. In the Project, crops are planted under PV panels and power is generated on the PV panels. It has been approved by Hubei Energy Administration and is scheduled to be connected to the grid for power generation in June 2021.
Multiple projects were commenced or connected to grid, putting a good end to 2020. As we bid farewell to 2020 and embrace 2021, the success of wind power and PV power projects are helping the company to take a solid step forward on the road to firmly transform its development direction, promote clean energy development and create more value for its shareholders.
