Hubei Power Generation Company Won Bid for Rooftop PV Project at Huahu Airport

On Feb. 23, 2021, Hubei Power Generation Company successfully won the bid for the rooftop PV project at Huhu Airport in Ezhou, Hubei Province. The Company will complete the project in accordance with applicable codes and standards and provide satisfactory operation and maintenance services.

Huahu Airport, located in Ezhou City, Hubei Province, is a Class 4E international airport, an international port for air logistics and the first professional cargo airport in Asia. In Aug. 2020, Huahu Airport was established as the first professional cargo airport in Asia according to the national strategy. With the further construction of the airport, there will be more than 600,000 m² of roofs of the sorting center and cold chain warehouses available for PV power development.
