Innovation Awards Won by China Power Huachuang for Two Technological Achievements

From March 23 to 24, 2021, the 11th Chemical Technology Exchange Forum was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. China Power Huachuang won a first prize and a second prize for technological innovation in the electric power industry, and was invited to make a speech at the forum. Nearly 300 experts and representatives from over 200 research institutes, universities and power generation companies attended the forum.

The two technological innovation achievements, the Research and Development and First Application of Full-liquid Non-Oxygen-Consumption Boiler Feedwater Oxygenation Process and the Research and Application of New Process of Thermal Equipment Shutdown Protection for Large Coal-fired Generating Units, have been successfully applied to Units 1&2 of Pu'an Power Plant and Units 1&2 of Fuxi Power Plant, respectively. The first achievement is a new technology initially proposed by China Power Huachuang for feedwater oxygenation, and it has obvious advantages in one-time investment, simplicity of operation, energy consumption, use of hazardous chemicals, etc. than conventional gas or liquid technologies.
