Changshu Power Generation Company Wins Title of Advanced Organization for Occupational Disease Prevention and Control

On June 4, 2021, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Jiangsu Province held a meeting on occupational disease prevention and control, and Changshu Power Generation Company was awarded the title of "Advanced Organization for Occupational Disease Prevention and Control of Jiangsu Province in 2020", and five employees of the company were awarded the title of "Advanced Individual for Occupational Disease Prevention and Control of Jiangsu Province".

In 2020, in the face of the sudden outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, Changshu Power Generation Company formulated and adjusted the company's pandemic control measures and emergency response plans according to the development of the pandemic and changes in the prevention and control situation, organized the collection and screening of all employees' health information, and activated the leave approval procedure for employees during the pandemic, so as to ensure that the company's personnel had "zero contact", "zero infection" and "zero suspicion" at different stages, including the initial stage, the outbreak period, the resumption of work and production, and the normal prevention and control period.

Changshu Power Generation Company has, ever since, insisted on implementing the Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases, taking prevention of occupational diseases as the core, identification of occupational disease hazards and elimination of occupational disease hazards as the main line, and solidly promoting the occupational health management of the company. By improving the working environment, strengthening the emergency response capability, improving on-site warning signs and information, arranging employee occupational health examination, and providing occupational disease prevention training and publicity, the company has achieved zero occupational diseases and zero acute occupational poisoning accidents.
