Yaomeng Power Generation Company Makes New Achievements in Innovation and Efficiency Improvement

Recently, Yaomeng Power Generation Company has been awarded utility model patents and the First Prize of 2021 Electric Power Industry Equipment Management and Technology Innovation Achievement Award, and has made new achievements in innovation and efficiency improvement.

A utility model patent was granted to an ultrasonic testing system for steel-casing directly-buried steam insulation pipeline on April 6, 2021. The patent relates to an ultrasonic testing system for steel-casing directly-buried steam insulation pipeline, and can achieve efficient detection of defects in the working segment of a steel-casing directly-buried steam insulation pipeline without excavation or cutting of the outer casing.

The technology innovation achievement of "Phased Array Inspection Technology for Turbine Blades" won the First Prize of 2021 Electric Power Industry Equipment Management and Technology Innovation Achievement Award issued by China Association of Plant Engineering (CAPE). The innovation has been applied in the overhaul of Yaomeng power plant to ensure the safe operation of steam turbines.
