Mr. He Xi Meets with Mr. Wang Hao

On July 7, 2021, Mr, He Xi, Chairman of CPID and Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC, met with Mr. Wang Hao, Member of the Standing Committee of Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Xi'an Municipal Party Committee, in Xi'an.

Mr. Wang welcomed Mr. He and his delegation to Xi'an and expressed his gratitude to CPID for setting up a company in Xi'an. Mr. Wang hoped that CPID would make Xi'an the center of new energy development in the northwest region, make full use of the rich natural resources in the northwest region, make the company stronger and better as soon as possible, and actively support the local "peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality" initiatives. Mr. Wang said that the governments would give strong support in terms of policy, taxation and coordination, and jointly promote the company development to achieve mutual benefit and win-win.

Mr. He expressed his gratitude to Mr. Wang for his warm reception, and briefly introduced the basic situation of SPIC and CPID as well as CPID's advantages and rich experience in new energy, integrated smart energy and other clean energy fields. Mr. He said that CPID (Shaanxi) Energy Investment Co., Ltd. was established in Xi'an to take advantage of the rich solar and wind resources and regional advantages in the northwest region and Shaanxi, seize the favorable opportunity of the national promotion of county (district) rooftop PV development, strengthen the cooperation between governments and enterprises, and contribute to the local economic development, carbon targets and the transformation and development of CPID.

Mr. Yang Xiaodong, Standing Member and Secretary General of Xi'an Municipal Party Committee, Mr. Xu Mingfei, Vice Mayor of Xi'an, Ms. Xing Xin, Director of Xi'an Development and Reform Commission, and relevant personnel of CPID attended the meeting.
