Guangxi Power Generation Company Achieves Excellent Results in National Large Hydropower Unit Maintenance Competition

On July 24, 2021, the 36th "Harbin Electric Machinery Works Cup" National Large Hydropower Unit Maintenance Skills Competition came to an end at Harbin Electric Machinery Company Limited. The competition was hosted by the National Committee of China Energy, Chemical and Geology Trade Union and China Staff Technology Association, and organized by Harbin Electric Machinery Company Limited. The maintenance team of Guangxi Power Generation Company won the third prize in the group competition, the group merit award, and one second prize and two third prizes in the individual competition.

The skills competition brought together 42 teams and 126 participants from the top 10 power generation groups in China. It is a grand event in the hydropower maintenance industry of China, and presents the state-of-the-art mechanical maintenance techniques of the industry.

As the youngest team, Guangxi Power Generation Company has showcased outstanding hydropower maintenance skills and capabilities. The Company's young employees were self-possessed in the individual competition and cooperated very well in the group competition. The competition provided a good opportunity for technical exchanges within the industry, and by learning from its peers, the Company identified its shortcomings and opportunities for improvement.
