Mr. Gao Ping Meets with Ms. Zhang Chao, Vice President of Mingyang Smart Energy

On September 14, 2021, Mr. Gao Ping, Executive Director and President of CPID, met with Ms. Zhang Chao, Vice President of Mingyang Smart Energy Group Co., Ltd. and her delegation, at the headquarters of CPID. Mr. Zhao Yonggang, Vice President of CPID, attended the meeting.

Mr. Gao extended a warm welcome to Ms. Zhang and her delegation, and introduced CPID's new energy planning as well as the development of its businesses such as energy storage, battery swap for heavy trucks, hydrogen energy, geothermal energy, and county-wide resource development. He hoped that both sides could accelerate the progress of the existing cooperation projects, promote the development of large base projects, and strengthen energy market development in the future.

Ms. Zhang introduced Mingyang's industrial layout, future development plan, overview of existing cooperation projects, and resource advantages, and hoped that both sides would put the bilateral cooperation into practoce as soon as possible. Representatives from Runyang Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Mingyang Smart Energy, introduced the technical transformation of replacing small units with large ones at Beidaqiao 150 MW Project in Guazhou, Gansu Province.

The two sides reached a consensus on setting up a joint venture and said that they would give full play to their respective strengths in resources, fund, technology, etc. to build a competitive platform for mutual benefits and long-term cooperation.
