Changshu Power Generation Company Completes 30% Deep Peaking Test on Its #6 Unit

On September 12, 2021, #6 Unit of Jiangsu Changshu Power Generation Company successfully passed the 30% deep peaking flexibility test, thanks to the Company's refined management of unit equipment and operation. It provided a good foundation for the subsequent technical modification and upgrade, and further contributed to the Company's cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

During the test, the unit met the minimum output, primary frequency control and phase advancing requirements for deep peaking while maintaining stable heating. To secure a smooth test, multiple production departments of the Company had formulated the operating regulations and safety measures for deep peaking in advance, stating the specific operations, handling of abnormalities, and other details. Besides, relevant technical and management personnel of the Company participated in the whole process of the test to ensure safety.
