Mr. He Xi Meets with Mr. Lan Qingsong and His Delegation

September 17, 2021, Mr. He Xi, Chairman of CPID and Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC met with Mr. Lan Qingsong, Vice President of SAIC Motor and his delegation at the headquarters of CPID, and both sides exchanged views on the in-depth cooperation in the field of energy and transportation.

Mr. He welcomed the visit of Mr. Lan and his delegation, and introduced the development histories and strategic directions of CPID and SPIC. He pointed out that CPID would further increase its investment in new industries such as green power transportation, energy storage, hydrogen energy and geothermal energy, insist on energy as the core industry and science and technology as the driving force, practice the responsibility of energy enterprises directly under the Central Government, and boost the timely achievement of the "3060" carbon targets. He also expressed CPID's willingness of in-depth and all-round cooperation with SAIC Motor in the field of green power transportation to achieve win-win cooperation.

Mr. Lan expressed his gratitude to CPID for the invitation and spoke highly of the rapid transformation of CPID. He introduced the achievements of SAIC Motor in recent years in the development and sales of heavy trucks and passenger cars. He said that SAIC Motor, as one of the leaders in China's auto industry, had very broad prospects for future cooperation with CPID in green power transportation as well as hydrogen fuel cells, etc. and SAIC Motor would give full play to its advantages, strengthen cooperation in green electric transportation and intelligent energy, and share the fruits of development with CPID.
