Mr. He Xi Meets with Mr. Tian Weiguo and His Delegation

September 17, 2021, Mr. He Xi, Chairman of CPID and Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC, met with Mr. Tian Weiguo, Chairman of China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau, and his delegation at the headquarters of CPID.

Mr. He welcomed the visit of Mr. Tian and his delegation, and introduced the basic situations of SPIC and CPID, the development of clean energy and the transformation and development practice focusing on the "3060" carbon targets and the building of a new power system with new energy as the mainstay. Mr. He pointed out that, CPID, as an energy enterprise directly under the Central Government, follows the current energy development requirements and trends, and is rapidly pushing forward the transformation and development, and actively developing green power transportation, rural revitalization, energy storage and geothermal power with the market as the guide. He said that CPID, as an important backbone enterprise of SPIC, has many years of profound accumulation in capital, technology, talents and management, and both sides could play their respective professional advantages, follow the direction of market development, innovate cooperation mode according to market demand, and develop a broader cooperation space.

Mr. Tian introduced the development status of China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau, and praised the achievements of CPID's active transformation in the context of the "3060” carbon targets, and expressed the willingness of China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau to work with CPID and to explore cooperation models and actively seek cooperation opportunities to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results by relying on their respective advantages.
