Mr. He Xi Meets with Mr. Liu Tibin and His Delegation

September 22, 2021, Mr. He Xi, Chairman of CPID and Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC, met with Mr. Liu Tibin, Secretary of CPC Committee and Chairman of Sichuan Provincial Investment Group Co., Ltd. (SCIG) at the headquarters in Beijing, and both sides exchanged views on the follow-up energy cooperation.

Mr. He welcomed the visit of Mr. Liu and his delegation, and fully affirmed the good foundation and achievements of the cooperation between both sides on the existing projects over the years. He introduced CPID's development in new energy and "three new” industries, and expressed CPID's willingness to continue to deepen cooperation with SCIG, integrate resources and carry out all-round cooperation in new energy, integrated intelligent energy, energy storage and hydrogen energy.

Mr. Liu expressed his gratitude for the trust and support given by CPID to SCIG over the years and spoke highly of the high-quality fruits of development achieved by CPID in adapting to the new situation of the energy industry. He introduced the strategic layout of "one body and two wings" of SCIG, and hoped that both sides would give full play to their respective advantages and explore new paths of cooperation between enterprises directly under the Central Government and local enterprises, as well as the cooperation mode for overseas projects to achieve mutual benefits and win-win situation.
