Chengde 300MW PV Project Is Selected as Guaranteed Grid-connected Project

September 23, 2021, the Development and Reform Commission of Hebei Province announced the guaranteed grid-connected wind and PV power projects in 2021, and Chengde 300MW Herding-PV Power Project in Shenyuan Paddock developed by Anhui Power Generation Company was selected as a guaranteed grid-connected project. The Project is located in Yudaokou Town, Weichang County, Hebei Province, adjacent to Saihanba Mechanical Forest to the north, and is one of the supporting energy projects for the Beijing Winter Olympics. The Project is expected to have an annual average feed-in electricity of 595,288 MWh, reducing consumption of 187,500 tons of standard coal and 467,400 tons of CO2 emissions each year. Through the pioneer implementation of complementary herding and PV power technology route and business model, the Project has positive demonstration significance to improve the local energy supply structure and promote economic and social development.

In the next step, Anhui Power Generation Company will focus on creating quality projects, speed up the handling of formalities and documents at early stage of the projects, construct projects with high quality and high standard, and pursuit the proactive transformation and development of the company.
