Mr. Fu Jinsong Meets with Mr. Xia Hengliang, Vice President of Huawei Global Smart PV Business

On October 12, 2021, Mr. Fu Jinsong, Vice President & Acting Chairman of the Labor Union of CPID, met with Mr. Xia Hengliang, Vice President of Huawei Global Smart PV Business, and his delegation at the headquarters of CPID.

Mr. Fu Jinsong first extended a warm welcome to Mr. Xia Hengliang and his delegation, and then introduced the status quo of CPID's overseas business. He said that Huawei had a sound business structure, good government relations and localized resources around the world, and CPID was willing to establish long-term cooperation with Huawei in expanding overseas new energy business. As for cooperation in key countries and regions, he hoped that Huawei would share with CPID its results and experience of market research to support CPID's investment in these countries and regions. He hoped that the two sides would, based on the principle of mutual benefit, actively promote the implementation of tasks under the strategic cooperation agreement to increase their overseas presence and create a bright future.

Mr. Xia Hengliang highly recognized the achievements made by CPID at home and abroad, and said that Huawei was willing to cooperate with CPID to jointly explore the overseas market by virtue of its advantages in overseas market development, digital energy, 5G, power electronics, and other fields.

Later, the two sides exchanged views on overseas PV and wind power development, micro-grids, energy storage and integrated smart energy, and had fruitful discussions on investment risks and profitable business models of overseas projects.

Mr. Zhao Yonggang, Vice President of CPID, and relevant staff members from CPID's Strategic Planning Department, International Business Department, and Development Department, as well as from CPID Maintenance Engineering, CPID Smart, Xinyuan Smart Energy Storage Co., Ltd., and Huawei attended the meeting.
