Mr. Gao Ping Visits Mr. Xiong Minfeng, Member of the Standing Committee of Daqing City

On October 14, 2021, Mr. Gao Ping, Executive Director and President of CPID, visited Mr. Xiong Minfeng, member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Mayor of Daqing in Daqing City. The two sides exchanged views on and negotiated over cooperation in the construction of clean energy bases in Daqing, transition away from fossil energy, and the "3060" target.

Mr. Gao Ping introduced the basic situation and the green development philosophy of CPID, as well as its achievements in clean energy, hydrogen energy, energy storage, integrated smart energy, and rural revitalization. He remarked that CPID was willing to be a part of Daqing's strategies such as green energy planning, traditional energy replacement, green transportation and rural revitalization, and to build an integrated "source-grid-load-storage-use" energy system in Daqing, thereby helping the city achieve carbon neutrality as early as possible, promote poverty alleviation, and accelerate rural revitalization.

Mr. Xiong Minfeng spoke highly of CPID's development philosophy and "packaged" projects, and invited CPID to develop demonstration projects in Daqing, make overall arrangement in energy development that suits the local energy conditions, showcase the feasibility for energy-consuming companies to transform to green development through practical projects, and set an example of all-win among the government, enterprise and people.

Relevant leaders from the Development and Reform Commission, Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and Bureau of Commerce of Daqing, CPID Development Department, and CPID Guorui attended the meeting.
