Mr. He Xi Meets with Zhang Yuebo and His Delegation

October 14, 2021, Mr. He Xi, Chairman of CPID and Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC, met with Mr. Zhang Yuebo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Binzhou, Shandong Province and his delegation at the headquarters of CPID.

Mr. He welcomed the visit of Mr. Zhang and his delegation, and expressed gratitude to the Binzhou Municipal Government for their support to the integrated power source, grid, loading and storage project in Binzhou. Mr. He first introduced the achievements of SPIC and CPID in new energy. He said CPID has closely followed the development trend of energy transformation, as well as actively responded to the national "3060" carbon targets policy and integrated into the national strategy of rural revitalization. He further added that the company has carried out a strategic layout in the three new industries including battery swap for heavy trucks, energy storage, rural revitalization and hydrogen energy utilization.

Mr. Zhang expressed his appreciation for the positive development momentum of SPIC and CPID in the recent years. He said that Binzhou is rich in new energy resources, has a high power load and a strong absorbing capacity. It will further expand its scale of new energy installed capacity and develop wind power, photovoltaic power, construct gas turbines and energy storage power stations, at the same time reducing the proportion of coal consumption, continuously optimizing the energy structure, as well as promoting the energy transformation. The Binzhou integrated power source, grid, loading and storage project is currently the key project promoted by the Binzhou Municipal Government. The government would continue to provide support and promote the bilateral cooperation to the next level.

Mr. Cao Yubin, the vice mayor of Binzhou City, relevant persons from Binzhou Municipal Government Liaison Office in Beijing, General Office of the Binzhou Municipal Committee and Office of the Binzhou Municipal Government, Mr. Lu Tianbao, General Manager of Shandong Lubei Enterprise Group General Company; Mr. Zhao Yonggang, Vice President of CPID and the responsible persons from the Administration Department, Development Department, Engineering Department and China Power Yantai Energy Investment Ltd, attended the meeting.
