CPID Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Government of Rushan City
On October 24, 2021, Mr. Niu Guiyu, Deputy Director of CPID, met with Mr. Xu Peng, Standing Member of Rushan Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of Rushan City, at the headquarters of CPID, and both sides had an in-depth exchange and signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
Mr. Niu welcomed Mr. Xu and his delegation to attend the new strategy conference and visit the headquarters of CPID. He introduced the new strategic objectives and development direction of CPID, and explained in detail the characteristics and classic cases of agricultural industrialization, regional decarbonization, land ecology and intelligent management involved in the comprehensive development and utilization of resources and rural revitalization. He expressed that CPID, as a core subsidiary of SPIC, was willing to develop in collaboration with local governments and contribute to the green development from industrial restructuring, regional energy planning and rural revitalization on the basis of government-led and market-oriented operation.
Mr. Xu expressed his gratitude for the warm reception by CPID, and said that CPID was a reputable and responsible enterprise and had made great contributions to local economic development, which was the main reason that the Government of Rushan City wanted to cooperate with CPID. He also said that Rushan City was located in the southern part of Shandong Peninsula, with a long coastline, many mudflats and abundant wind, solar and geothermal resources, and had great advantages in the development of geothermal, wind, PV and pumped storage power projects. He hoped that CPID would continue to exploit its financial and technology advantages, plan zero-carbon implementation plans for Rushan City, and jointly promote the transition and development of local industries.
The two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement on new energy base, offshore wind power, pumped storage, rural revitalization and power charging projects, providing a solid basis for the future energy resource survey, development of zero-carbon planning, and project implementation in Rushan City.
