Mr. Fu Jinsong Calls on Mr. Qiu Shengcheng
On October 27, 2021, Mr. Fu Jinsong, Vice President and Acting Chairman of Labor Union of CPID, led his delegation to call on Mr. Qiu Shengcheng, Secretary of CPC Leadership Group and Director of Yunfu Investment Promotion Bureau. Both sides had an in-depth discussion on green electric transportation, hydrogen energy, energy storage, low-carbon and zero-carbon beautiful village construction, and reached a consensus on cooperation.
Mr. Fu introduced the achievements, cases and advantages of CPID in the fields of green electric transportation, hydrogen energy, energy storage, integrated smart energy, low-carbon and zero-carbon beautiful village construction, etc. He said that as a hub city connecting the Pearl River Delta and Southwest China, Yunfu City had unique advantages in geographic location and investment environment, and CPID would give full play to its industrial advantages to promote the cooperation between both sides in green low-carbon industries and beautiful village construction, and help Yunfu build a new highland of ecological development in Northern Guangdong and successfully achieve the goal of "peaking carbon emissions and carbon neutrality".
Mr. Qiu extended a warm welcome to Mr. Fu and his delegation, and introduced the investment plan and key carbon reduction projects of Yunfu City during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. He pointed out that Yunfu City had rich mineral resources and many power-consuming enterprises such as stone processing plants, cement plants, steel plants, etc., and as a logistics distribution center in Guangdong Province, the logistics industry in Yunfu City had a broad prospect. He hoped that both sides would promote cooperation in hydrogen energy, energy storage, low-carbon and zero-carbon beautiful village construction and other fields to achieve win-win situation.
On the same day, Mr. Fu and his delegation also called on Mr. Qin Bo, Party Committee Secretary of Fengkai County, and Mr. Zheng Weixian, Deputy Secretary of CPC Leadership Group and Deputy Mayor of Yunan County, and had in-depth communication with the Development and Reform Bureau, Environmental Protection Bureau, Agricultural Bureau and other agencies of the two counties to reach a consensus on cooperation.
