SPIC Shandong Company Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Government of Yucheng City

On November 12, 2021, SPIC Shandong Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the government of Yucheng City. Mr. Teng Haiqiang, Secretary of Yucheng Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of Party Working Committee and Director of Management Committee of Dezhou High-tech Zone, and Mr. Zheng Haicun, General Manager of SPIC Shandong Company, attended and witnessed the signing.

According to the agreement, both sides will respond to the "3060" target, focus on green development, innovative development, multi-industry integration and multi-energy integration, and cooperate in the fields of clean energy, incremental distribution network, integrated smart energy and beautiful countryside. Besides, both sides would vigorously develop county-wide distributed PV power, centralized wind power, solar power, energy storage, hydrogen energy, green power transportation, beautiful countryside and other integrated smart energy scenarios, establish a closer and more stable strategic partnership to help Yucheng's energy mix adjustment, industrial upgrading and ecological protection, build a "zero-carbon Yucheng", and turn Yucheng City into a modern city of wealth, harmony and civilization.

With a total area of 990 square kilometers, Yucheng has Shandong Province's only national high-tech zone located in counties, and is a national torch plan biotechnology industry base, a national high-tech biotechnology industry base (core area), a national nutrition and health food raw material base, a national green energy demonstration city, and the most competitive low-carbon industrial city in China.
