CPID Wins ESG Award from HKET

On November 16, 2021, CPID won the award of Excellent ESG Enterprise of 2020-2021 for its outstanding performance in terms of ESG factors at the ESG and Green Finance Forum cum Recognition Ceremony 2021 held by Hong Kong Economic Times (HKET). A total of 16 companies won the award, including Bank of China, Towngas, Xiaomi Group and Everbright Environment, and CPID was the only power company that won the award.

The ESG Award was organized by HKET, a leading financial newspaper in Hong Kong, as part of the Excellent ESG Recognition Scheme. The theme for the year 2021 is "New ESG Normal", and the award recognizes companies with high ESG scores and relatively strong resilience in a volatile environment. The award includes two categories: "Outstanding ESG Enterprise 2020-2021" and "Specially Recognized Enterprise (Project) 2020-2021". The winners were selected by a judging panel consisting of representatives from Hong Kong Monetary Development Council, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies and various industries, and by public voting.

Since this year, CPID has continued to improve its internal ESG management, actively make good information disclosure, tell the story of CPID, expand its influence in financial media, ESG funds and other groups, and rapidly enhance its reputation.
