Mr. Gao Ping Meets with Mr. Wang Xiaoping and His Delegation

On November 15, 2021, Mr. Gao Ping, Executive Director and President of CPID, met with Mr. Wang Xiaoping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Acting Mayor of Dalad Banner, and his delegation at the headquarters of CPID in Beijing. Mr. Zhao Yonggang, Vice President of CPID, attended the meeting.

Mr. Gao introduced the new development strategy of CPID and its achievements in clean energy, hydrogen energy, energy storage, geothermal energy and rural revitalization, and hoped that both sides could take actions under the strategic cooperation agreement to help Dalad Banner with carbon neutrality and rural revitalization by building a national 10 GW integrated energy demonstration base and constructing an energy system covering power source, power grid, power load, power storage and power utilization.

Mr. Wang expressed his recognition of CPID's development strategy and energy system construction plan, and would support CPID and its partners to jointly develop new energy resources in Dalad Banner, to realize the large-scale and full utilization of resources and local energy consumption and build a beautiful Dalad Banner.

Both sides reached a consensus on the planning and construction of a 10 GW integrated energy demonstration base in Dalad Banner, and requested that a design institute be commissioned as soon as possible to prepare the base plan in conjunction with the current energy situation in Dalad Banner, so as to optimize the overall layout of energy development, accelerate the implementation of the project, jointly build Dalad Banner into a national demonstration integrated energy base, and achieve zero-carbon development in Dalad Banner.

The relevant personnel from the government and the Economic Development Zone of Dalad Banner, the General Affair Department and Development Department of CPID and Bainian Shuren Group attended the meeting.
