Niu Guiyu headed to Lianyungang for cooperation

On December 7, 2021, Mr. Niu Guiyu, Deputy Director of CPID, together with responsible heads of SUMEC, headed to Lianyungang for communication over cooperation issues.

Mr. Niu Guiyu briefly introduced the basic situation and resource advantages of SPIC and CPID, expressed CPID's good wish to help Lianyungang achieve rural revitalization, the "3060" target and common prosperity, and gave suggestions on the roadmap of realizing rural revitalization and the "3060" target in Lianyungang and ways of cooperation in clean energy + modern industry, PV ecology, green traffic, hydrogen production, energy storage and integrated smart energy, in combination with such application scenarios as multi-energy complementary integration, and source-grid-load-storage integration. He hoped that CPID and SUMEC would work together to develop the Lianyungang Economic and Technological Development Zone, and carry out comprehensive cooperation with Lianyungang.

After extending his welcome to CPID and SUMEC, Mr. Yang Xinzhong, Executive Vice Mayor of Lianyungang, introduced the basic situation of Lianyungang and his thoughts and ideas on energy development in Lianyungang. He said that there were many big energy consumers in Lianyungang such as ports, mining areas, chemical engineering companies, pharmaceutical companies, etc., and there were many opportunities for cooperation in battery swap for heavy trucks, hydrogen production, energy storage, PV ecology, offshore wind power, integrated smart energy, etc. He hoped that CPID and SUMEC would deepen their cooperation with and support for Lianyungang, to advance the industrial upgrade of Lianyungang.
