Xinyuan Intelligent Energy Storage Co., Ltd. completes topping out of the main control room of Golmud Energy Storage Power Station

On December 6, 2021, the Golmud 100 MW/200 MWh Shared Energy Storage Project ("Golmud Project"), EPC-contracted by Xinyuan Intelligent Energy Storage Co., Ltd., successfully completed the topping out of the main control room thanks to the close cooperation of all parties involved, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent electrical equipment installation, commissioning and grid connection as scheduled.

Golmud Project is located in the Gobi Desert, 30 km east of Golmud City, Qinghai Province, covering a total area of 1.6314 hectares. As a key project introduced by Golmud PV Industrial Park in its efforts to build a new national highland of clean energy and accelerate the development of new energy industry, it is of great significance for driving local economic development, accelerating the optimization of energy mix of Qinghai Province, and promoting high-quality energy development.

Xinyuan Intelligent Energy Storage Co., Ltd., co-founded by CPID and Hyper Strong, is a professional energy storage investment and operation platform. At present, many of its projects were under construction. The successful topping out of the main control room was an important milestone for Golmud Project, which would help CPID actively seize the energy storage market, build CPID into a "world-class green and low-carbon energy supplier", and greatly promote the local new energy consumption and power transmission.
