China Power Huayuan Wins First-class Qualification for Nuclear Project Contracting

Recently, China Power Huayuan was awarded the first-class qualification for nuclear project contracting by Shanghai Housing and Urban-Rural Development Management Committee.

Nuclear project contracting qualification is a construction qualification under the authority of the State Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, allowing enterprises to construct various types of nuclear reactor, radioactive chemical, nuclear fuel component, nuclear isotope separation, uranium metallurgy, nuclear waste disposal, nuclear power plant overhaul and maintenance, and uranium mine projects. Since obtaining the second-class qualification for nuclear project contracting in 2017, China Power Huayuan has been studying intensively, improving its capabilities, striving to do a good job in nuclear power plant inspection and maintenance services, and building a good reputation in the industry with its leading technologies, all-round service and well-established management system through a few excellent projects such as Haiyang Nuclear Power Project and Rongcheng State Nuclear Demonstration Project.

At present, China only has 10 enterprises with the first-class qualification for nuclear project contracting. China Power Huayuan is SPIC's first subsidiary with the top qualification for nuclear project contracting, providing more powerful support for the development of nuclear power maintenance and other businesses in the future.
