Mr. He Xi Meets with Mr. Qiu Cheng, Chairman of XCMG

On December 17, 2021, Mr. He Xi, Chairman of CPID and Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC, met with Mr. Qiu Cheng, Chairman of XCMG and his delegation at the headquarters in Beijing.

Mr. He welcomed the visit of Mr. Qiu and his delegation, and briefly introduced the strategic direction and achievements of CPID in clean energy innovation and development. Mr. He pointed out that CPID was actively responding to the "3060" target, rapidly promoting the transformation and development to a low-carbon and zero-carbon enterprise, and taking the lead in new industries and new tracks such as rural revitalization, energy storage, hydrogen energy and green electric transportation, and had accumulated certain experience. Mr. He said that XCMG, as a leading supplier of green electric transportation equipment, had achieved remarkable results in cooperation with SPIC in recent years, hoping that both sides would continue to play their respective advantages, especially in the fields of battery swap for heavy trucks, logistics and transportation, to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Mr. Qiu spoke highly of CPID's recent rapid transformation and new energy development momentum. Mr. Qiu briefly introduced XCMG's achievements in the R&D and sales of heavy trucks with swap battery and vehicle machinery. Mr. Qiu said that XCMG, as one of the leading enterprises in the domestic automobile industry, had a very broad prospect of cooperation in green electric transportation and other aspects under the background of "3060" target, and hoped to join hands with CPID to broaden the cooperation space.
