Mr. Gao Ping Meets with Mr. Yu Xingguo, Member of Standing Committee of Karamay Municipal Party Committee

On January 13, 2022, Mr. Gao Ping, Executive Director and President of CPID, met with Mr. Yu Xingguo, a member of the Standing Committee of Karamay Municipal Party Committee in Karamay. Mr. Niu Guiyu, Deputy Director of CPID, Mr. Zhou Peiwen, GM of Shanghai Qingyi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd, and the leaders of the District Party Committees, Development and Reform Commission, Bureau of Rural Agriculture and Bureau of Commerce and Investment of Karamay City, attended the meeting.

Mr. Gao introduced the basic situation of SPIC and CPID, as well as CPID's development path and achievements in new energy, integrated smart energy, green electric transportation, energy storage, hydrogen energy, geothermal energy and rural revitalization. Mr. Gao said that CPID was willing to cooperate with Karamay City, to accelerate the use of clean energy and electric energy substitution in Karamay City, relying on the rich wind, solar, oil and natural gas resources, and improve the implementation of President Xi Jinping's "building a new power system with new energy as the mainstay" and the "3060" target.

Mr. Yu extended a warm welcome to Mr. Gao and his delegation, and said that Xinjiang had a unique advantage in developing new energy, hoping that both sides would do a good job in planning the reserves and increment, change the mindset, establish innovative cooperation modes, and set a model for government-enterprise cooperation.
