China Power Huayuan Completes Repair of Unit 2 of Haiyang Nuclear Power Station during Spring Festival

During the Spring Festival of 2022, CPID Huayuan successfully completed the minor repair of Unit 2 of Haiyang Nuclear Power Station, and contributed to the safe and stable operation of the unit and the power supply for the Winter Olympics.

On the one hand, the minor repair should guarantee the safe and reliable operation of the operating units, and meet the heating and power demands of the people; on the other hand, the repair quality should be ensured, and the repair work of the nuclear island should be completed within the short window of downtime, with any unplanned tasks properly completed. China Power Huayuan attached great importance to the task, prepared the work plan in advance, and successfully completed the repair task. The unit was synchronized at 00:10 on February 5, 2022, with a total repair period of 137.1 hours, 56.3 hours ahead of the schedule.
