Mr. Gao Ping Meets with Mr. Bai Jingtao, Chairman of CMET

On February 15, 2022, Mr. Gao Ping, Executive Director and President of CPID, Mr. Shou Rufeng, Vice President of CPID, and Mr. Xu Ji, Chief Accountant of CPID, met with Mr. Bai Jingtao, Chairman of China Merchants Expressway Network & Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. (CMET), and they had an in-depth discussion on further strengthening the all-round strategic cooperation between both sides.

Mr. Gao briefly introduced the development history of the power industry, the basic situations of SPIC and CPID, as well as CPID's development path and achievements in new energy, integrated smart energy, green electric transportation, energy storage, hydrogen energy and rural revitalization.

Mr. Gao said that CPID would actively implement the major strategic deployment of President Xi Jinping's "building a new power system with new energy as the mainstay" and the "3060" target, cooperate with CMET, and relying on CMET's rich highway resources, give full play to the advantages of CPID in the green low-carbon energy field, actively lay out the application of transportation resources in the energy field, establish long-term cooperation in green energy, integrated smart energy, hydrogen energy, energy storage, etc., create a model of cooperation between enterprises directly under the Central Government, and achieve mutual benefits and a win-win situation.

Mr. Bai extended a warm welcome to Mr. Gao and his delegation, and briefly introduced the development history, assets and advantages of CMET, as well as CMET's current industrial development trend and vision. Mr. Bai hoped that under the background of the "3060" target, both sides could further deepen cooperation on the basis of the intention reached in the first meeting, establish a communication mechanism, and promote win-win cooperation.

The heads of the Capital Operation Department, Planning and Finance Department and Development Department of CPID joined the visit.
