Mr. He Xi Meets with Major Leaders of Huainan City

On February 18, 2022, Mr. He Xi, Chairman of CPID and Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC, met with Mr. Ren Zefeng, Secretary of Huainan Municipal Party Committee, and both sides exchanged and negotiated on deepening cooperation between enterprises and local governments, developing green energy and promoting industrial integration.

Mr. He first thanked Huainan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for their strong support to CPID and Pingwei Power Generation Company, and introduced CPID's operation situation and plan for transition. Mr. He said that CPID hoped to further integrate into the overall economic and social development of Huainan City, strengthen communication with Huainan City in clean energy, shared energy storage, facility agriculture, traditional industry transformation and upgrading, etc., and deepen win-win cooperation.

Mr. Ren welcomed Mr. He and his delegation, and introduced the current situation and future planning of Huainan City's industry. Mr. Ren said that Huainan City was located in the load center of the Yangtze River Delta, with significant location advantages and profound energy industry, and was willing to strengthen cooperation with CPID in the fields of new energy base construction, coal power structure optimization and smart agriculture promotion, etc., and promote Huainan City's industrial structure upgrading and replacement of growth drivers with CPID's human resources, technology and capital advantages, so as to achieve win-win results.
