Mr. He Xi Meets with Mr. Shan Xiangqian

On February 19, 2022, Mr. He Xi, Chairman of CPID and Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC, met with Mr. Shan Xiangqian, Secretary of Wuhu Municipal Party Committee in Wuhu, and both sides had an in-depth exchange on promoting Wuhu to achieve the "3060" target and deepening cooperation in energy and electricity.

Mr. He expressed his gratitude to Wuhu Municipal Party Committee for its support to Wuhu Power Generation Company, briefly introduced CPID's basic situation and outstanding advantages in new energy, and expressed his hope that both sides would carry out in-depth cooperation in virtual power plants, big data centers, and the development of energy storage projects on the land of the old Wuhu Power Plant. Mr. He also said that CPID was willing to give full play to its resource advantages as an enterprises directly under the Central Government and boost the high-quality, innovative development of Wuhu City.

Mr. Shan expressed a warm welcome to Mr. He and his delegation, and made a brief introduction to the economic development of Wuhu City. Mr. Shan pointed out that Wuhu City had outstanding advantages in location, manufacturing and cultural resources, and was making efforts to build a provincial sub-center city, while facing the challenge of energy problems. Mr. Shan hoped to deepen energy and power cooperation with CPID in the future, and invited CPID to participate in the urban transformation of Siheshan area, with a view to jointly promote Wuhu's high-quality, innovative development in the context of the "3060" strategy.
