CPID Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Shandong Agricultural Development Group

On February 22, 2022, CPID signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shandong Agricultural Development Group in Beijing. Mr. He Xi, Chairman of CPID and Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC, and Mr. Kong Lingjie, Chairman of Shandong Agricultural Development Group, attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the signing of the agreement between both sides. Mr. Gao Ping, Executive Director and President of CPID and Chairman of China Power New Life Town, and Mr. Zhang Qingxi, GM of Shandong Agricultural Development Group, signed the agreement on behalf of respective sides.

Before the signing ceremony, Mr. He and Mr. Kong had a discussion about the construction of a new development pattern of "clean energy + ecological agriculture" and the innovation of industrial cooperation mode.

Mr. He extended a warm welcome to Mr. Kong and his delegation, and briefly introduced CPID's development history, advantages and industrial layout in Shandong Province. Mr. He highly affirmed the prospect of cooperation between clean energy and ecological agriculture industry, and said that both sides should establish a flexible cooperation mechanism, and make contributions to China's "3060" target and rural revitalization. CPID would give full play to its resources and platform advantages in new areas such as new energy+, energy storage and rural revitalization, support and expand the depth and breadth of cooperation between both sides. Mr. He emphasized that both sides should set up a working team as soon as possible, formulate work plans, quickly build a cooperation platform, and accelerate the implementation of cooperation projects.

Mr. Kong expressed his gratitude to CPID for its support, and introduced the basic situation, platform and market advantages of Shandong Agricultural Development Group including 7 platforms such as bulk agricultural products trading platform and rural property rights trading center and 6 business areas such as antler mushroom industry, land remediation, and mine restoration. Mr. Kong said that the combination of clean energy and ecological agriculture was a new development direction and an important part of the "3060" target, and Shandong Agricultural Development Group had good development opportunities and was confident to explore the new mode of cooperation and development of "energy + agriculture" with CPID and China Power New Life Town, thus contributing to China's rural revitalization and "3060" target.
