Mr. He Xi Meets with Wu Gang, Chairman of Goldwind

On March 15, 2022, Mr. He Xi, Chief Engineer (New Energy) of SPIC and Chairman of CPID, met with Mr. Wu Gang, Chairman of Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd., and attended the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between CPID and Goldwind at the headquarters of CPID.

Mr. He extended a warm welcome to Mr. Wu Gang and his delegation, and expressed his gratitude to Goldwind for their help and support in wind power, and introduced the development of strategic new industries such as energy storage, geothermal energy, rural revitalization and virtual power plants as well as the recent achievements of CPID. He said that CPID needs more excellent partners for its low-carbon development and strategic transformation, and hoped that CPID and Goldwind would strengthen all-round cooperation in country-wide development and integrated smart energy.

Mr. Wu Gang expressed his appreciation for the strategic transformation of CPID, and congratulated CPID on its recent achievements in new energy and other relevant industries. He believed that CPID's strategic thinking is very clear, forward-looking, and its strategic determination is firm, and he could feel that CPID is a dynamic and extremely innovative, creative enterprise with technology and management strengths. He said that both CPID and Goldwind were players in the energy sector, and Goldwind was willing to join hands with CPID to complement each other and form a synergy to carry out deeper cooperation in such scenarios as country-wide development, set a good example for cooperation, and boost the “3060” target of China.

Mr. Fu Jinsong, Vice President and Chairman of Labor Union of CPID, and Mr. Chen Qiuhua, Vice President and General Manager of Marketing Center of Goldwind Wind Power Business Group, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides, respectively. Mr. Gao Ping, President and Executive Director of CPID, Mr. Niu Guiyu, Deputy Director of CPID, and relevant managers of Goldwind attended the meeting.
