SPIC Guangxi Signs Investment and Cooperation Framework Agreement on Pumped Storage Power Station with Government of Xing'an County

On May 12, 2022, SPIC Guangxi signed an investment and cooperation framework agreement on pumped storage power project development with the Government of Xing'an County.

The pumped storage power project in Xing'an County has a planned total installed capacity of 400-500 MW, and as one of SPIC Guangxi's important deployments in its development strategy, can effectively optimize the power structure in Xing'an County and Guilin region, laying a solid foundation for building a strong green energy county, promoting the implementation of the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, and promoting the high-quality development of SPIC Guangxi.

Next, both sides will make every effort to promote the project into the medium- and long-term planning for small- and medium-sized pumped storage power plants in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the "14th Five-Year" territorial and spatial planning of Xing'an County, and strive to obtain early approval of the project construction.
