CPID: Huangpu Terminal Green Power Transportation Project Has Been Put into Operation

Recently, CPID (stock code: 02380.HK) has officially put Huangpu Terminal Green Power Transportation Project, which is in the green power transportation segment, into operation.

The project is equipped with a total of 12 battery swap electric semi-trailer tractors, 2 charging poles and mobile battery swap trolleys (i.e. the sixth generation of battery swap station). The tractors are mainly applicable to different scenarios such as dedicated line transportation, regional dumping, in-port dumping, in-field transportation, etc., and can be integrated with the production scheduling system and vehicle-less carrier platform for vehicle use scenarios, to create a green and intelligent supply chain. The tractors can also integrate automatic driving technology to provide basic platform support for the unmanned use of ports, mines and other scenarios.

The use cost of electric heavy trucks is about 5-10% lower than that of fuel trucks, and can be even reduced by 50%-60% in relatively closed ports and plants, thanks to driverless technology. The smooth and reliable charging mode, as an environmentally friendly, intelligent, efficient and stable transportation alternative, can effectively utilize urban land resources, and also avoid occupying a large area of land for long time charging and reduce the allocation of spare vehicles.

The completion of the project at Huangpu Terminal will promote the fast and steady development of the port's green transportation industry, and help Sinotrans build a green port demonstration.
