Hubei Power Generation Company Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with CGN Nuclear Technology Development Co., Ltd.

On May 24, 2022, Hubei Power Generation Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CGN Nuclear Technology Development Co., Ltd. Mr. Zou Zhenyu, GM of Hubei Power Generation Company, Mr. Deng Yong, Deputy GM of Hubei Power Generation Company, Mr. Lin Jian, Chairman of CGN Nuclear Technology Development Co., Ltd., and Mr. Hu Dongming, GM of CGN Nuclear Technology Development Co., Ltd., attended the signing ceremony and held a talk.

During the meeting, both sides had an in-depth exchange on new energy, nuclear technology and China's "3060" target. Mr. Zou extended a warm welcome to Mr. Lin and his delegation, and introduced SPIC's corporate culture, undertaking of national major special projects, development characteristics, innovation achievements, and concept of openness and cooperation, as well as the development of Hubei Power Generation Company, willing to combine the advantages of both sides and promote the implementation of projects.

Mr. Lin highly praised the development of Hubei Power Generation Company, introduced the corporate characteristics, business presence, and development strategy of CGN Nuclear Technology Development Co., Ltd., and expressed his willingness to strengthen cooperation with Hubei Power Generation Company in clean energy and other fields.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, both sides will give full play to their advantages and cooperate in special waste treatment, proton projects, new energy projects, integrated smart energy, power distribution and sales, project investment and O&M, etc., to boost development based on equality and mutual benefit, complementary advantages and resource sharing, and form a closer industrial synergy.
