Wuling Power Generation Company Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with China Telecom Hunan Branch

Recently, Mr. Xia Gang, Chairman of Wuling Power Generation Company, met with Mr. Liu Wenbing, GM of China Telecom Hunan Branch, and witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between both sides. Mr. Mo Yujun, Deputy GM of Wuling Power Generation Company, and Mr. Jiang Chengdong, Deputy GM of China Telecom Hunan Branch, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

Mr. Liu welcomed the visit of Mr. Xia and his delegation, and highly praised the results of the 5G intelligent system jointly developed by both sides for hydropower project. Mr. Liu hoped that both sides would further strengthen communication, share digital transformation experience, go deeper into specific production scenarios, promote application cooperation based on 5G+ intelligent system for hydropower project and cloud-network integration, accelerate industrial digital upgrading, build an integrated smart energy demonstration project in Zhongnan Digital Industrial Park and a zero-carbon smart park, promote green, low-carbon development to a new level, and provide strong electricity and computing support for the development of Hunan Province.

Mr. Xia said that both sides had rich experience in electric power industry and communication field, and hoped to, on the basis of the integrated smart energy project of Zhongnan Digital Industrial Park, give full play to the advantages of both sides, in a bid to jointly promote the development of new energy and integrated smart energy, electricity marketization and carbon trading, explore new paradigms of cooperation in big data, "three networks integration", etc., accelerate the application of modern energy and communication technologies, boost the integration of informationization and industrialization, and achieve win-win results.
