CPID Participates in HKEX Investor Relations Activities

On July 7, 2022, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) held a summit on the Future of Investor Relations - Innovation, ESG and Impact in Hong Kong. Mr. Shou Rufeng, Vice President of CPID, attended the event by video from Beijing and gave a presentation on CPID's ESG practices.

Mr. Shou introduced CPID's new development strategy, explained CPID's vision of "World-class green and low-carbon energy supplier" and mission of "Lower Carbon Empower Better Life" from the ESG perspective, and shared CPID's ESG practices from energy transition, governance structure, corporate social responsibility (CSR), information disclosure, etc. Taking CPID's Chaoyang project as an example, Mr. Shou shared the ESG demonstration practices in the power industry, from the aspects of China's first grid parity PV power project, Green Electricity Certificates, integrated smart energy, green and low-carbon demonstration industrial parks, industrial cluster, etc.

Mr. Shou said that CPID would align with China's "3060" target, the ESG philosophy and CPID's new development strategy, to ensure stable growth in earnings for all shareholders, vigorously promote the development of clean energy and "three new" industries, boost local economy and employment, fulfill its social responsibilities as a listed company directly under the Central Government, continually improve corporate governance, and set a good example of ESG practices.

Relevant personnel from the Corporate Governance Department and the Capital Operation and Investor Relations Department attended the event.
